Generations - Transnational Partnership
 
The transnational network “Power of Generations”
Like all other EQUAL – development partnerships “Generations” is part of  a European network developing and exchanging innovative ideas and practices.
 
“Generations” is a member of the Transnational EQUAL partnership “Power of Generations” and functions as its  secretary.  The other partners are:
 
The Belgian development partnership “KEEP” is coordinated by the Flemish job  agency  nv Vso Werkholding / t-groep. Its focus lies on the development of new instruments of Human Resources Management (HRM)  for older employees  (e.g. “Skill pooling”).
 
The Italian development partnership “CHANCE” is coordinated by Euroimpresa Legnano s.c.r.l.. It comprises policy makers and a number of public-private employment/business support agencies in the province of Milan and deals with the development and distribution of integrative promotion programmes for older employed and unemployed people in the whole province.
 
The Polish development partnership “Cyber ręka lidera – wspieranie liderów społecznych przemian w Polsce” (Cyber hand of the leader – support for leading actors of social change in Poland) is coordinated by the association TRATWA in Wrocław. It promotes human resources development of NGOs in the region, especially through joint training programmes for NGO managers and unemployed academics  .
 
 
Objectives of transnational cooperation:
 
• developing methods to increase awareness of older employed and unemployed people,  employers and managers of the Third Sector 
 
• recommendations for all political actors concerned
 
• A web based manual of research results, training/human resources development/  recruitment  modules,  employment concepts and tools

• Standards for mentoring, advice and promotion of target groups

• Guidance and recommendations for multiplicators (counsellors, job agencies, trade unions, etc.)
