While social segregation accompanied by increasing vacancy and fluctuation is currently one of the major problems in urban large housing areas, the social and economic Management of such districts becomes an effort of uppermost importance.
Regarding this, the integrative approach of the project “Concierge” is assigned to:
Aufgabenbeschreibung:
Within the field of “housing-related services” we check on different models of employment (such as pension plus mini-jobs, part-time jobs, state-sponsored qualifying measures, full employment). However, there is a considerable possibility to shift ones operating level from state-sponsored training to regular job.
In advance, we are going to define the terms and conditions of the particular working field in order to derive a service portfolio systematically for senior employees. The outcome of all activities mentioned above will result in a feasibility study.

Regarding this, the integrative approach of the project “Concierge” is assigned to:
- Providing work and training for (preferably local) senior employees (50+) as a contribution to reconstruct and preserve employability
- Stabilisation of challenged neighbourhoods; improvement of social inclusion; participation in community-based services/activities
