Mission Statement:
In contrast to the ‘simple’ transfer of know-how or technology, the transfer of innovative measures for the labour market requires adapting entire complexes and procedural systems to individual, institutional and state requirements. Rather than depending on strategies which rely on a broad distribution of information on good practice, or on the spontaneous dissemination of this information, transfer is a controlled, goal-oriented process. A transfer project develops within a clear context, with set roles and clear phases.

The European Transfer Office:

  • researches model projects in Europe
  • identifies good practice models of intergenerational work methods
  • informs the development project partners
  • prepares the information gathered for further use
  • draws on transnational input via best practice benchmarking to continuously improve the individual project components
  • prepares a plan of action for the transfer
  • monitors the implementation of the plan of action
